ICON Vehicle Dynamics 05-15 TACOMA 0-3.5"/16-23 0-2.75" STAGE 7 SUSPENSION SYSTEM BILLET CDXS K53007D

Description:

ICON Vehicle Dynamics Toyota Tacoma suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. The Stage 7 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” Extended Travel coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs equipped with CDXS for exceptional cooling properties and adjustable compression damping as well as ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. CDXS controls fluid flow under compression, with independent adjustability of high speed and low speed compression force. 10 discreet detented settings for both low and high-speed adjustment knobs allow separate adjustments for handling response and overall aggressiveness. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-3.5” of lift on 2005-2015 or 0-2.75” on 2016-2023 models, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the Toyota Tacoma with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. The included rear Add-A-Leaf Kit Installs in place of the factory overload leaves and effectively lowers the rear spring rate by approximately 10% for a more compliant ride while also providing 1.5" of rear lift over stock. 2.5 Aluminum Series Omega Bypass rear shocks combine vehicle-specific valving, multiple shock damping zones, and 28 settings of compression and rebound adjustment to give end-users ultimate control of the performance and ride quality of the rear of the Tacoma. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma Stage 7 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt. This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.
