Upgraded cooling systems are not just for off-road rigs and big haulers. Even basic mods/upgrades like oversized tires can increase strain on your engine in adverse conditions. The CSF Radiator provides extra protection that: Extends engine life by maintaining optimal coolant temperatures. Improves towing capacity by enhancing cooling efficiency. Eliminates performance limitations during demanding driving conditions. Provides peace of mind with superior construction and durabilityWhen engine coolant overheats, performance suffers and you are forced to stop driving or risk a cooling system failure. CSF & Full-Race engineers identified this vulnerability during extensive real-world testing of F-150 and Raptor models under demanding conditions. Having to stop and wait for your engine to cool down is more than just an inconvenience, it is a limitation that shouldn't exist in modern trucks. Especially not a Raptor. An upgraded radiator helps eliminate the concern of overheating. These advanced designs feature larger 2-Row, 42mm aluminum cores which increase the fluid capacity of the radiators, and greatly improves heat dissipation. CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the ultra-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. The result is a dramatic temperature reduction under all driving conditions. The 13th/14th Gen F-150s / 2nd Gen Raptors received what many would consider an undersized radiator. This was the first generation to offer the new EcoBoost motors and there were some kinks to work out. The extra heat from the turbo charged engines definitely put more pressure on the factory cooling system. While some owners never pushed their rigs hard enough to notice, those who did quickly found the factory system lacking. In addition, these trucks are getting to the age where radiators need to be replaced as a maintenance item. If you are going to be doing the labor, you might as well install the best possible radiator. Upgrading to the CSF Radiator offers: 60% larger core volume than the factory radiator. 100% TIG welded Aluminum construction (compared to plastic end tanks crimped). Core straps for strength and added rigidity for extreme reliability in demanding conditions. Ideal for turbo upgrades, high power/boost builds, towing, and off-roading.
