TCI Automotive C4 STREET RODDER BRKWY 70-82 CF PACKAGE 511238P2

Description:

This TCI Case-Filled Ford C4 transmission package is aimed at customers with stock-to-mildly cammed engines who want excellent street performance and long-term durability. The package includes the transmission, transmission cooler, dipstick, fluid, and a Breakaway torque converter, featuring a 2500-2600 RPM stall for cars running a bigger cam or a taller differential gear set. As the name implies, the case-filled C4 transmission has the dipstick located in the case. It is perfect for street rods or vehicles with space limitations, as it uses a 157-tooth flexplate to accommodate a smaller bellhousing, providing extra header clearance in tight spaces. It comes with rebuilt planetaries with new bushings, thrust washers, and sealing rings, plus extra aftermarket clutches to increase holding capacity. The front pump assembly mating surface is machined flat to prevent pressure loss, while a Valve Body Performance Improvement kit increases line pressure for improved performance, durability, and firmer, more positive shifts. Stock input shafts are replaced with 4340 aftermarket steel shafts for increased strength and durability. Each Street Rodder Transmission and Torque Converter undergoes the industry-recognized Triple Testing to verify that internal fluid pressures and shift characteristics match the strict TCI quality control standards. Transmissions and their internal components are inspected, and stock parts are replaced with high-performance TCI-manufactured parts where applicable. Valve bodies are remanufactured and tested 100% prior to installation. Last, each transmission is subjected to both a static hydraulic pressure test during assembly and a final dyno test prior to shipping. Torque converters are tested to ensure that the impeller body and pump drive hub remain true, then pressurized and lead-tested to confirm the integrity of the weld seams. Each unit is computer-balanced to reduce drivetrain vibrations that can cause serious damage to your converter.
