This integrated backlight gives you an additional accent light, along with the main beam. The backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products. To power the backlight, use the included harness to tap your desired vehicle function. Built to last. The brackets in this kit are constructed out of anodized 6061 aluminum. Unlike other options made out of mild steel, This compact mounting solution installs in just minutes with a 5mm Allen wrench and can be mounted in multiple positions, allowing to you shine light where you need it most. Focused. Optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare. However, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS3 and SSC2 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.
