Description:

Improve the handling of a lifted 1988-1998 Chevy/GMC 1500 truck or SUV equipped with a factory rear sway bar. Designed to be used with a 6-inch lift kit, the BDS front sway bar link kit will improve handling and prevent body roll. The BDS heavy-duty replacement sway bar links are designed specifically for lifted applications. These sway bar links are designed to correct the sway bar operating angle for improved performance for use on BDS lift kits and are compatible with most other lift kits on the market. BDS sway bar links use high-strength steel construction with welded eyelets and a clear zinc finish. Polyurethane bushings and sleeves ensure long bushing life and quiet operation.

Buyer's Guide

End Link Buyer's Guide

End links, aka sway bar links, are the small connectors that tie your sway bar to the rest of the suspension. They transfer suspension movement into the sway bar so that the bar can resist body roll. Read more about how sway bars work here.

Fixed vs. Adjustable End Links

If end links are not the correct length, they can twist the sway bar at rest, leading left turns and right turns to feel different. This is called preload and can happen after lowering your vehicle or otherwise adjusting suspension geometry.

Adjustable end links allow you to change their length and are used to remove sway bar preload and restore proper handling. If end links did not come with your sway bar or you're replacing your existing end links, make sure to find ones specifically compatible with your vehicle. You can find all the parts you need and plan your build on RideBuilder.
